Felony Charge Defense

Kissimmee Felony Defense Attorney and Lawyer providing experienced Felony Charge Criminal Defense legal services in Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Osceola County, Orange County, and the surrounding Central Florida areas.

In the State of Florida three are three degrees of a felony crime which include:

  • 3rd degree felony: punishable by up to a $5,000 fine, five (5) years prison and/or probation;

  • 2nd degree felony: punishable by up to a $10,000 fine, fifteen (15) years prison and/or probation;

  • 1st degree felony: punishable by up to $15,000 fine, thirty (30) years prison and/or probation.

Felony criminal charges are crimes which are of a more serious nature than that of a misdemeanor crime. Accordingly, the fines, penalties, and impact that a felony conviction may have upon your life are significantly greater than that of a misdemeanor conviction.

As a law firm providing experienced Felony Defense Attorney - Lawyer legal services, assisting Kissimmee, St Cloud, Orlando, Osceola County, Orange County and Central Florida area residents with Felony Charge Defense legal issues, we are committed to protecting the legal rights of each and every client, while always striving to provide the highest standard of legal representation. A felony conviction may have a serious impact upon your life.  From the loss of your civil rights, which include your right to vote, your ability to sit on a jury, and your right to own, use, or possess a firearm, your right to own a passport, and so on. A felony drug charge that results in conviction may also result in an immediate two-year suspension of your privilege to drive.

Convicted felons are often prohibited from employment in occupations involving the handling of money or valuables.  A felony conviction can also be a significant stumbling block if you later decide to pursue a professional discipline field of employment, such as medicine, nursing, teaching, real estate, financial services, or practicing law.  If you are already licensed in a particular discipline profession, a felony conviction could result in a review of your character and fitness, jeopardizing your ability to continue to work in that field.

If you have questions, concerns, or legal needs regarding felony charge defense or other criminal defense issues, we urge you to seek the legal advice of an experienced Kissimmee felony defense attorney - lawyer at Salazar & Kelly Law Group, P.A., by calling 407-483-0500 to schedule a confidential legal consultation.
