Who is going to pay for my medical expenses following my Florida car accident?

Video Transcription:

Who pays for your medical expenses following a Florida car accident can be a complex question. First, your PIP cover, which is you personal injury protection policy, that’s the first policy in line. Generally speaking, that will pay $10,000 or 80% of your medical expenses. Second, would be the “at-fault” driver’s insurance company. However, that normally does not settle until the end of your case.

If that policy is not adequate, then your will go after your uninsured, underinsured motorist coverage and that’s why it’s so important to have that. If you find yourself in that situation, do contact our office, Salazar & Kelly, and we will be glad to walk you through.
