Do police have to follow any particular rules in arresting me and searching for drugs?

Video Transcription:

Police do have to follow particular rules in arresting you and searching you for drugs. First, if you’re arrested, the police generally have the ability to search you incident to that arrest. However if you are arrested and the police have reasonable suspicion, they can stop and detain you. If the police have probable cause, they can search you and they can arrest you. If you find yourself in that situation, do contact our office and we can walk you through your rights against unreasonable searches and seizures by law enforcement.
