Do I have to give a recorded statement to the insurance company in a Florida auto accident case?

Video Transcription:

The question of whether or not to give a recorded statement to an insurance company after an accident case, the answer to that is ‘yes’ and ‘no’. If it’s your insurance company, the answer likely is ‘yes’. If you have an insurance policy in your contract, you have probably already agreed in writing to give a recorded statement. If you hire a lawyer, if you hire our firm we’ll be there with you when you get that recorded statement.

If the insurance company is the other side, the at-fault driver’s insurance company, the person that ran into you, the answer is ‘no’. Under no circumstances should you give that person a recorded statement. If you hire our law office, you’ve hired a law firm that’s not afraid to tell the other person’s insurance company, ‘no’.
